LAUNCHING AMD FUSION A-SERIES

AMD announces further-generation of computing mainstream with release of AMD Fusion A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (Apus) recently with higher performance. APU Series A from AMD is also capable of providing HD graphics experience, just like a supercomputer performance and battery life of more than 10.5 hours. Within-oriented world of digital and visual experience, the consumer have a very high priority for devices that can do some work (multitasking), has sharp graphics capabilities, playing a game that seemed to live, play videos smoothly, and has the perfect of multimedia performance.


Order to meet these needs, APU Series A from AMD combines up to four x86 CPU core with high-level graphics that support DirectX 11 and up to 400 core with a Radeon HD video playback capabilities in a single chip. APU Series A from AMD also supports high-level capabilities such as gestural interfaces, multimonitor displays, entertainment 3D and image stabilizer.

Today, APU Series A from AMD (previously named "Llano") is in the process of delivery and planned for use in more than 150 notebooks and PCs from many leading manufacturers starting from the second quarter of 2011. "Battery power APU Series A from AMD is a major leap forward and will surprise our customers and partners," said Chris Cloran, vice president and general manager, Client Division, AMD.
