Intel Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel HT Technology) using processor resources more efficiently if multiple threads to run on each database. Intel HT technology increases the capacity of the processor, improving overall performance on threaded software. Intel HT Technology is available on the previous generation Intel Core 2nd generation and Intel Xeon.
